An Oldie But Goodie: A praying Life, Paul E. Miller
Dear Sojourner,
Here's a book that never collects dust on my bookshelf. If you're a sister who owns this book, A Praying Life, Connecting with God in A Distracting World, by Paul E. Miller, dust it off and be reminded of the benefits of prayer. If you don't have a copy, I highly recommend getting one.
Be encouraged by how Paul demystifies the barriers many have allowed to block their prayer life. This book will likely become a staple for the "woman of prayer" and serve as a timely reminder of truth.
I'm actually reading it backward and randomly, journal in hand to jot down Paul's valuable and timeless strategies. "A win-win read."
What are you reading or re-reading?
